About Us

Vitality Care Residential Ltd is a family run care home that was established in 15th November 2017. We currently have two homes registered with Ofsted. One is situated in Staffordshire moorlands and the other in Newcastle under Lyme.

We are a Therapeutic children's home who works with Gateway Psychology. All staff have regular consultation to ensure staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills to meet the young persons needs. Regular training is provided with Gateway on specialised training which is individualised to meet the needs of the young people who reside in the homes.

The homes therapeutic approach follows the PACE model. We ensure we use Play, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy is our daily interaction with the young people.

The young people have the option to meet and work with our Art Psychotherapist to express themselves through art.

The home cares for children and young people aged 8-18 years of any gender who present with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. We care for children who have a range of complex needs including sexualised behaviour and social and emotional behavioural difficulties who are of mixed gender, race, background, religion, disability, sexual orientation, and a range of experiences. The home will support young people with learning difficulties, only if they are not the young person’s primary need of support as the home is registered as EBD and this may include a learning difficulty. The homes are equipped to provide living accommodation for three young people. However, each young person gets admitted to the home upon a lengthy detailed impact risk assessment to determine if the young people would be suitable matches. This also ensuring that a suitable time between each admission is planned appropriately to provide each young person time to settle into the placement.
